My Guide Classroom Sessions

Teacher assisting a student

Using myfuture in the classroom? Having issues?

In some cases, teachers have experienced slow access or response times when using myfuture with several students at once.

myfuture has been upgraded to increase its capacity and performance, across all areas of the service, including the new My Guide 2.0. We have replicated classroom usage and have confirmed that My Guide can easily manage the equivalent of 40 concurrent users from a single location.

To get the best results in the classroom you need to ensure that your internet traffic limits and settings are suitable for using My Guide with multiple users. We would recommend working with your IT support officer(s) to ensure that your school has the appropriate infrastructure and internet service provision in place to deal with myfuture traffic.

We know of several schools who have successfully used myfuture with many students using My Guide concurrently by ensuring their systems are set up appropriately.
